Phosphorus and Potassium are very important to plants.  A lack of phosphorus leads to poor root development, stunted growth and purple discolouring on leaves.  Potassium helps plants resist disease and improves flower, fruit and seed quality.  Mono Potassium Phosphate (MKP) has both Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) in a balanced form which helps to increase fruit quality and yield.  Due to its high solubility, optimum pH, low salt index makes MKP highly suitable for foliar spray and fertigation.
